| DAVID JONES IN HIS ELEMENT! Intuition is the title of a landmark double CD by The David Jones Trio. They don't come more spontaneous than David Jones. So when his new band (The David Jones Trio) plays a gig, creative sparks fly. This Trio uses improvisation as its repertoire, resulting in sensational music that is beyond style and genre. Daring to be different, The David Jones Trio was recorded at a history-making live concert at Allan Eaton's Studios. The concert, recorded live to tape, includes the audience on clapping and vocal improvising! Reflecting on the session David Jones said: "Improvised music. Straight down to tape. Something I've wanted to do for years. Yeah! And the audience vocals and clapping sounded wild. My favourite way of playing is a situation where the musicians are deeply listening to each other, and composing music literally in the moment. With my mighty colleagues Bob and Evri, it felt like the music played itself." |
