David Jones Educator


	David Jones is more than just a highly aclaimed musician, he also has that rare ability to inspire others. Much of this is accomplished through his playing, but he also finds time for one-on-one teaching, workshops and masterclasses.

Educator David is a passionate educator, and a gifted communicator of ideas as well as music. His desire to assist other musicians has involved him with: Sydney Conservatorium of Music, (Head of Drum Dept for 9 years until 1994) International workshops and masterclasses (since 1978) Private students. He has released two highly acclaimed educational drum videos. Coaching and motivational workshops for vocalists and other musicians (other than drums) Community Involvement David works with communities in projects such as Fairfield Community’s Ta-Ka-Dm Dance project, the Interfaith Event "Longing for Peace", the "World Peace and All That Jazz" Concert for the Llama Gangchen Peace Foundation. He facilitates Meditation Retreats for Musicians and Performing Artists.
