Composer David continually writes for the various bands with whom he performs, and has also composed for dance projects. In 1997 David composed a quartet piece especially for performance with the Japan Percussion Ensemble, entitled "4 Way Agreement". He continues to compose and record for Zomba's collection of Library CDs (for use in documentaries, films, videos etc). One of Zomba’s most popular CDs worldwide is a special album showcasing David's work, entitled "Percussion World". The music and sounds on "Percussion World" are so diverse, melodic and imaginative that it’s hard to believe that only drums and percussion have been played. David’s compositions appear on many meditation CDs including "Sakash", "Lights of the World", "A World of Relationships", "Peace of Mind". He has also composed and plans to record an ambient drumming CD. |
